Kids and Teens pediatricians are trained to manage ADHD as follows:

• Patients were seen every 1-3 months depending on each child’s needs

• Patients who are high risk for mental health conditions are referred to behavioral therapy and psychiatry

Special Needs Care 

Kids and Teens Pediatricians are experts in caring for children with developmental disorders

• Patients are monitored every 6 to 12 months

• We coordinate referrals with CHLA and community specialists for ongoing care

• We review IEP documents and advise on the next steps

• Between birth to 3 years, we recommend referrals to regional center

• For children over 3 years, we refer to the school district for evaluation and treatment
